Wounded Warrior
So one thing you should know about Dan is that he is a retired military veteran that suffers from PTSD. Running with him made this experience more meaningful hearing about how he is coping and getting help for his condition. The donations that some of you made to The Wounded Warrior Project help people like my new friend Dan. Thank you again.

Done. No- DONE
So my daughter NAt has been posting all race. I made it to 40 miles over a 19 hour period. Words cannot express the test this was not only physically but mentally too. I have the utmost respect for the individuals that do this. Currently the leader is at 95 miles. That is just plain insane with this course. Thank you again to all those praying for me and supporting me. It kept me going. The last quote for today - "Yo Adrian. - I did it."
WTM Update:7
Lap number 7, this does NOT feel like Heaven. The wind has definitely picked up and doesn't look like stopping any time soon. Time: 2 hours. 35 miles down. Had to stop in the pit to warm up for a bit before heading back out. They really take brutal to a whole new standard. I'm dedicating this lap to The Holy Spirit, who's showing us through these powerful powerful winds that his presence is strong here. Not so inspirational-inspirational quote: "This feels like the 8th grade. It's only fun once."
WTM Update 6
Lap six, bringing out the kicks! 30 miles in and it's starting to feel like the Tricities with this dust storm coming in! Bring out those bandanas, Mudders. Time: 2 hours and 22 mins. Staying on track mighty fine heading into this early morning. I'm dedicating this lap to the inventors of the wet-suit. Without them, cold would be an understatement. Inspirational quote: "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

And it struck the Philistine on the head and he fell to the ground. Amen." -Preacher Purl, Hoosiers.
Day of reckoning
Rise and shine.
I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. (Psalm 40:1-2 NIV)
